English: Telegraph code (5-bit, two shift states) created by Donald Murray, based on Émile Baudot's original 5-bit code. Often called simply "Baudot code", but codes for letters etc. are not compatible with Baudot's original code so this can be misleading. Has several minor variants, including Western Union code, ITA2, US-TTY and Murray's original, but letters and (full-size) digits generally correspond across these.
