English: Barcoo, 1,505 GRT, 745 NRT. Lbd: 250'1" x 36'1" x 15'5". Steel-hulled steamship of triple expansion engine making 308 horsepower and built by W Denny & Bros., Dumbarton as a passenger ship for QSS Co. April 1887 of AUSN Co., working almost all of the regular trade routes. Hulked 1911. Sunk by gunfire by Royal Australian Navy 1st February 1924.[1][2]
