Italiano: Ragazza in corsa, forse impegnata in una delle gare organizzate in onore di Hera a Olimpia. Datazione incerta tra opera neoattica del I sec. a.C. della cerchia di Pasiteles oppure opera adrianea del II sec. d.C. ispirata a un modello greco di età severa. Era presente nella Collezione Barberini, acquisita nel 1772. Musei Vaticani, Museo Pio Clementino, Galleria dei Candelabri, Inv. 2784.
English: The Vatican "Atalanta" (Museo Pio Clementino Inv.2784), possibly a copy of a Greek statue of c.460 BC. The costume, a short tunic with a single breast exposed, and the palm branch, associate the statue with victory in the Heraean Games. (Donald Kyle, "Fabulous Females and Ancient Olympia" 2007)
