Italiano: Baldassare Garbagnati (Monza, 20.10.1880 - Val d'Astico (Vicenza), 8.10.1915), figlio di Achille Garbagnati, cavaliere e capitano di complemento, è ricordato come benefattore, insieme ad alri componenti la sua famiglia, della Congregazione di Carità (poi Ospedale Umberto I). Inoltre è ricordato tra i caduti monzesi nel monumento a loro dedicato dalla città di Monza. Capitano di complemento nel 159° Regg. di fanteria, morto per le ferite riportate in combattimento, decorato di medaglia d'argento al Valore Militare.[1]
English: Baldassare Garbagnati (Monza, 10.20.1880 - Val d'Astico (Vicenza), 10.8.1915), son of Achille Garbagnati, knight and reserve captain, is remembered as a benefactor, together with other members of his family, of the Congregation of Charity (later Umberto I Hospital). He is also remembered among the fallen from Monza in the monument dedicated to them by the city of Monza. Complement Captain in the 159th Regg. of infantry, died of wounds sustained in combat, decorated with a silver medal for military valour.
