The Brooklyn Public Library Park Slope Branch at 431 Sixth Avenue at the corner of 9th Street in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City was built in 1906 and was designed by Raymond F. Almirall in the Classical revival style. Until 1975, it was known as the "Prospect Branch". The building was designated a NYC landmark in 1998. (Source: Guide to NYC Landmarks (4th ed.))
