English: A búcaro is a small vase made of clay. During the Spanish Golden Age they were used to contain scented water. Noble ladies ate pieces of them to keep their skin pale and with other superstitious purposes.
Español: Un búcaro es una pequeña vasija de arcilla. Durante el Siglo de Oro, los búcaros servían para contener agua perfumada. Las nobles de la época los comían para mantener la palidez de la cara, y por otros fines supersticiosos.
