In the Alyscamps necropolis, the Porcellet funeral chapel, also called Notre-Dame de Miséricorde chapel, was founded in 1472 by Madelaine Retranchain, widow of Joan Porcellet, the burials in the Saint-Honorat church having been interrupted during an episode of plague.


This building is classé au titre des monuments historiques de la France. It is indexed in the base Mérimée, a database of architectural heritage maintained by the French Ministry of Culture, under the reference PA00081179 .
