The Arch Street United Methodist Church at 55 N. Broad Street at the corner of Arch Street in Center City, Philadelphia a block from City Hall was built in 1869-70 and was designed by Addison Hutton in the Gothic Revival style, with a facade of white Italianate marble. (The chapel was built earlier, in 1865.) The church was Hutton's first major project. (Source:"Arch Street UMC History" on the church website)
