English: The Aqueduct Bridge — a former 1843 canal aqueduct and railroad bridge over the Potomac River. An important and well preserved remnant of one of America's earliest engineering triumphs. Intimately connected with the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal, and the development of commercial Georgetown in the early 19th century.
