- 1909-12-xx delivered, named Answald, Hamburg-Bremer Afrika Linie AG, Bremen
- 1914 requisitioned by Kaiserliche Marine (Imperial German Navy)
- 1914 converted to seaplane tender at Kaiserliche Werft, Danzig
- 1919 as war reparations to the United Kingdom, home port: London
- 1921 converted to cargo ship and renamed Vulcan City, St. Just SS Co Ltd, Bideford
- 1929 new owner: Reardon Smith Line Ltd, Bideford
- 1933-07-24 scrapped in Blyth (Hughes Bolckow Co)
