English: The "Alpha Alpha" (Alpha chapter) of Chi Psi was founded at Wesleyan University, Middletown, Connecticut, USA in 1844. It lost its house to the university in the late 1990s, disaffiliated from its national, and went dormant around 2000–2001. As of 2012 there is an effort under way to revive the chapter, presumably without its historic house at 200 Church Street, Middletown, Connecticut, now a program house for students interested in civil justice and multiculturalism. See http://wesleyanargus.com/2009/10/13/the-lost-brotherhood-the-tragic-history-of-chi-psi-at-wesleyan/ for most of this history, http://www.chipsi.org/?page=WesleyanAlphaColony for the 2012 effort at revival.
