English: Airlie was a British full-rigged ship built 1875 by Alexander Stephen & Sons Glasgow (Yard No 180) for David Bruce & Co, Dundee. She sold 1899 to A/S Superb (Andreas Meling), Stavanger, renamed Superb and was later reduced to a barque. 1904 she was sold to C. L. Endresen, Kristiansand. 1915 she captured and sunk by U.34 on voyage from Buenos Aires to Queenstown.
Her dimensions were length × beam × depth = 235 × 38 × 22.9 ft (71.6 × 11.5 × 6.9 m) and they had a tonnage of 1577 GRT and 1500 NRT.[1]
