As of February 2013, the 1918 building was not listed in the National Register of Historic Places; a newer Northwestern Bell building, located to the north of the 1918 building, was listed. See Jeffrey Robb, "Old Bell HQ makes register", Omaha World-Herald, 2009-10-24; and the NRHP nomination form for the newer building, available via the Nebraska State Historical Society's "More Nebraska National Register Sites in Douglas County".
