[edit]- Shoulder Sleeve Insignia: On an orange shield with a ⅛ inch (.32cm) white border 2 ¼ inches (5.72cm) in width and 3 inches (7.62cm) in height a stylized green demi-dragon with red eye emitting two black flashes.
- COMBAT SERVICE IDENTIFICATION BADGE: A gold color metal and enamel device 2 inches (5.08 cm) in height consisting of a design similar to the shoulder sleeve insignia.
Symbolism

- The demi-dragon alludes to the unit’s area of operations in Worms, Germany.

[edit]- A silver color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02cm) in height overall consisting of five flashes converging at center on a silver disc with three concentric black circles all encircled by an orange scroll inscribed "PROFESSIONAL" at top and "COMMUNICATIONS" in base in silver letters.
Symbolism
[edit]- Orange and white (silver) are the colors traditionally associated with the Signal Corps.
- The disc with black lines alludes to the globe, the flashes forming lines of longitude, and symbolizes the far reaching scope of the unit’s mission.
- They also resemble a target, indicating accuracy and efficiency. The five flashes refer to the unit’s numerical designation.

- The flag has a Background that is the Primary color of the Branch with a Fringe of the Secondary Branch Color. The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia, Proper, is Centered, and 15 Inches high.

- Flags are alike on both sides. Design elements appear on both sides as if printed through the material except as stated in 2 and 3 below.
- Letters and numerals will read from left to right on both sides.
- When a shoulder sleeve insignia (SSI) design is used on a flag, the SSI design must appear proper on both sides.

- Flags designed primarily for indoor and parade display will normally be made of banner rayon or heavyweight nylon with rayon fringe.
- Flags designed primarily for outdoor display will be made of nylon-wool or heavyweight nylon without fringe.
