Public School 8 at 29 King Street between Sixth Avenue and Varick Street in the South Village section of the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York, was built in 1886 and was designed by David I. Stagg in the Queen Anne style. It has been converted to residential use, and is located within the Charlton-King-Vandam Historic District. (Source: AIA Guide to NYC (4th ed.))
