1956 Maserati A6G/54 2000 Allemano Coupé s/n 2125. Originally Black with Blue interior according to barchetta.cc (the owner states it was a light blueish silver with lipstick red interior), this example was later painted Turquoise (also referred to as Aquamarine).[1] In Italy until 2007, when it was sold at auction in the UK, painted Aquamarine. It was first delivered to Guerrino Lelli of Forli (some sources state A. Mondatori of Milan[2] at Enrico's Maserati Pages) and sold on to Primo Rustignoli in 1961, also of Forli. Used to carry "FO 56272" plates. The Maserati was then owned by Giampiero Corti of Florence before being acquired by renowned restorer Giovanni Giordanengo in 1993, who sold it to Giuseppe Prevosti in 1996.[3], and presumably shipped to California where it was seen with the registration 435 FDY. Restored, incorrect taillights replaced and painted Grigio. This example went on to win the Post-War Touring class at Pebble Beach in 2011 and was featured by Jay Leno in 2014. Some sources state that the engine and chassis both carry the number 2103.
