English: The 137 series (in plastic packages) and 191 series (metal-ceramic packages) were the first Soviet line of ECL logic produced in sufficient numbers. Although it does not have direct Western progenitors, it can be ultimately traced to Motorola MECL-I line. The first production run of 137 series was released in 1969. At the same time, the Soviet industry was also making the 100 ECL series derived from Motorola MC10000. After a few years of parallel production, the 137/191 series was discontinued in favor of the 100 series [1]
