Ōikari Montarō (大碇 紋太郎, February 22, 1869 – January 27, 1930) was a sumo wrestler from Chita, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. He reached the rank of ōzeki, the second highest rank in the sport. He was awarded a yokozuna license by the Gojō family of Kyoto, who sponsored Osaka-based sumo association, and not the Yoshida family, who was a patron of Tokyo-based sumo. Therefore he's not recognized as an official yokozuna by today's standards.
