Church and monastic site in the Rose Valley with three huge crosses in a ceiling (not in the church but a dormitory that connects to it), hewn from the rock, and many frescos. May date back to the 600's. Note maybe the word for cross (haç) implies the name above is misspelled. However, haçlı (with a cross) can be translated as "crusader" and that leads to a misunderstanding: one can find the church referred to as "Crusader Church" which is decidedly wrong (if only for the date of its foundation).
