The Çorlulu Ali Paşa mosque is part of a larger complex with entrances on Yeniçeriler Caddesi. That belongs to a transitional period between classical and baroque styles. A guidebook states “The only very obvious baroque features are the capitals of the columns of the porch”. The other buildings (than the mosque) now hold a teahouse with people smoking watder pipes and shops selling carpets and similar souvenirs. There also is a cemetery.
