"Chelyabi" carpets (Azerbaijani: Çələbi xalçaları), are the variant of Azerbaijani "Barda" carpets of Karabakh carpet school (or "Karabakh group"). They were initially produced in Chelyabilar village east of Barda town in Azerbaijan and for that reason are called "Chelyabi" carpets. Some authors call these carpets "Chelyabirt" or "Chelebirt" that are derived from "Chelyabi". "Chelyabi" carpet of 19th-century from Azerbaijan are located in the Victoria and Albert Museum (London).
