Assembling a pyramid, as part of the 2007 Summer Solstice Pageant, associated with the Fremont Fair, Seattle, Washington. A large portion of that year's parade and pageant was on an Ancient Egyptian theme. These photos were taken at Gas Works Park during the pageant; the various pieces of the pyramid had been carried along the parade route; the framework was hauled. The pieces were added top-down to the framework.
In some of these photos (e.g. the first two) on the hill behind, you can see the 30-foot (9m) rose carried in the parade by the Friends of Mevlana. In others, you can see the ruins of the old gas works, which dominate the park.
