Deutsch: Der älteste Teil und Kern des Aachener Doms, der ein architektonisches Konglomerat aus den verschiedensten Perioden christlicher Baukunst bildet, ist die Pfalzkapelle Karls des Großen.
English: The Aachen Cathedral, frequently referred to as the "Imperial Cathedral" (in German: Kaiserdom) of Aachen, is the oldest cathedral in northern Europe.
Italiano: La Cattedrale di Aquisgrana (Aachener Dom), a cui ci si riferisce spesso come "Cattedrale imperiale" (in tedesco: Kaiserdom) di Aquisgrana, è la più antica cattedrale del Nordeuropa.
Nederlands: De Dom van Aken is de oudste kathedraal van Noord-Europa. De dom bestaat uit de paltskapel van Karel de Grote (de kern van de dom en het eigenlijke schip), waarvan de bouw begon in 796, en een aantal aanbouwen uit de Gotische stijlperiode.
Svenska: Aachens katedral, ofta kallad "Kejserliga katedralen" (på tyska Kaiserdom) i Aachen,är den äldsta katedralen i norra Europa.
