English: Hyakunin isshu (百人一首) is an anthology of 100 Japanese waka poems written by 100 poets. The most well-known of its kind is Ogura Hyakunin Isshu (小倉百人一首), selected by Fujiwara no Teika (1162–1241) while he lived at a villa in the Mt. Ogura in Sagano, Kyoto.
