- It's rather unlikely that anyone will stumble across this talk page by chance. Not only have you not presented this issue like it is actually a matter of opinion, it seems like the only purpose of it is to antagonise... Diliff (talk) 13:30, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
- I believe I am entitled to express an "opinion" on a template that is being used in the mainspace as opposed to the userspace and having that opinion considered on its merits as opposed to myself or my "seeming" intentions.--Bdell555 (talk) 20:46, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
- Of course you are. I'm just commenting on how pointless it is expressing your opinion on the template when nobody but me is going to read it. Let's just leave this conversation here and see who happens to drop by to say hello, shall we? Diliff (talk) 20:54, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what led you to think that a desire on my part to "just leave the conversation here" should not be assumed. Re "nobody but me" reading what this Talk page is attached to, besides the fact that I've read the Template that this Talk page concerns and I'm not you, there is a fair bit of evidence that others have read it as well. For example, if the "Permission" terms of this file were independently inspired it is an remarkable coincidence that they are almost identical to those of this Template. Ditto for Template:Jonathunder/Licensing, Template:Mario modesto/Licensing, User:Felipe Menegaz/Permission, Template:Philaweb/Licensing, Template:Mario_modesto/Licensing, and User:Jujutacular/Image_license, just to take a few examples. All of these were created subsequent to this Template. Perhaps a future copier will have a question about this Template (like a courtesy request to use your work without attribution?)--Bdell555 (talk) 00:18, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
