Deutsch: Geschnitzt nach Original von Johann Reupold sen. Der Kirchseeoner Perchtenlauf ist ein winterlicher Umzugsbrauch. Zwischen Anfang Dezember und dem 6. Januar, also rund um den kürzesten Tag und die längste Nacht, rund um die Rauhnächte, veranstalten sie ihre Läufe. Dabei erinnern die Kirchseeoner Perchten, dass die Menschen von den Launen der Natur schon immer abhängig waren und sind. Mit ihren Tänzen und Sprüchen, die sie vor den Häusern aufführen, möchten sie vor allem die guten Erdgeister erwecken und die bösen abschrecken und dadurch die Zuversicht der Menschen stärken. In Bezug auf die ehemals landwirtschaftlich geprägte Gegend, sind ihre Auftritte ein Teil des Jahreskreislauf, verbunden mit der Bitte um eine gute Ernte. Der Brauch ist seit 2022 in Bayerisches Landesverzeichnis des Immateriellen Kulturerbes eingetragen. Am 13. März 2024 hat die Deutsche UNESCO-Kommission beschlossen, den Kirchseeoner Perchtenlauf in das deutsche Register des Immateriellen Kulturerbes aufzunehmen. |
