Deutsch: Blick vom Schenkersberg bei Niederhone auf die Gobert mit dem Naturschutzgebiet „Hessische Schweiz bei Meinhard“.
Die „Hessische Schweiz bei Meinhard“ im nordhessischen Werra-Meißner-Kreis, mit den Wäldern der Hörne, des Hohesteins und der Gobert, wurde im Jahr 1989 zu einem Naturschutzgebiet erklärt. Durch die Unterschutzstellung sollten ein „Bergsturz, Kalkfelsfluren, Kalksümpfe, Magerrasen, Blockschuttwälder und großflächige Laubholzbestände“, mit den hier beheimateten „seltenen und stark gefährdeten Pflanzen- und Tierarten“ erhalten und langfristig gesichert werden. Mit dem benachbarten Naturschutzgebiet „Kalkklippen südlich des Iberges“ wurde das Gebiet auch als Teil des Fauna-Flora-Habitat-Gebiets „Kalkklippen der Gobert“ in das europaweite Netz besonderer Schutzgebiete „Natura 2000“ integriert. In dem Naturschutzgebiet liegt vollständig das Naturwaldreservat Hohestein. Die Hessische Schweiz gehört auch zum „Grünen Band“ und mit Teilen zu dem Vogelschutzgebiet „Felsklippen im Werra-Meißner Kreis“.
