Global winners of the Wiki Loves Africa 2022 contest
The Wiki Loves Africa 2022 photographic competition has resulted in 16,265 images uploaded to Commons around the theme Home & Habitat. For national prizes, please see the national jury decisions below.
The photo contest entries were reviewed first by a team of Wiki Loves Africa organisers, and then by a panel of 13 photographic experts from around the world. The international jury made up of professional photographers and Wikimedia Commonists identified the top 3 international winners. The Best Video and Special Collections prize were selected by the Organisers using the results of the Jury process.

The international prizes were:
- 1st prize: US$2000
- 2nd prize: US$1500
- 3rd prize: US$1000
Additional categories were:
- Prize for best quality video (audio and visual quality and storytelling will be taken into account): US$1000
- Special collection (a series of images that tell a story): US$750
Each winner will also receive a pack of goodies (postal services willing)
