Being maroon, that is the flag of a brigadier general of the Army Medical Department (i.e, Medical Corps, Dental Corps, Medical Specialist Corps, Army Nurse Corps, & Veteranary Corps). A chaplain (brigadier general) flag is black with one star. See Army Regulation 840-10. SSG Cornelius Seon (US Army, Retired) (talk) 03:34, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"This flag is scarlet, 3-foot hoist by 4-foot fly with a horizontal line of white five-pointed stars, the number indicating the grade. For Army Medical Department general officers the flag base is maroon; for chaplains, purple."--Ibagli (talk) 06:31, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If you look at this category: Category:General Officer Flags of the United States, which has all the General Officer Flag files, both yours and the USAIOH's, that I posted, you will see how yours is the wrong color. According to the USAIOH, the specific color is ecclesiastical purple, not just purple. Also, you will see that the USAIOH files all have a Yellow Fringe. -SSG Cornelius Seon (US Army, Retired) (talk) 14:45, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I have updated the color to use the USAIOH's version and will be doing so for the others.--Ibagli (talk) 00:38, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
