Coral snake?

[edit]

This looks like a harmless milk snake to me, Lampropeltis triangulum ssp. These have black-yellow-black triads on a red ground color. Coral snakes typically have yellow-black-yellow triads instead. Anyway, no European species look anything like this, so it obviously escaped its owner's care. I hope it ended up in a good home. --Jwinius 20:24, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This image file is incorrectly named.

[edit]

This is a milk snake, not a coral snake of any kind.
