Wrong order of disk blocks?

I wonder why the 2nd disk does not contain any "parity" blocks, but the 3rd disk contains more paraity blocks than normal data blocks. Also the order of the blocks seems random.

I'd have expected this block scheme: 

 A1  B1  P1  A2
 A2  P2  A3  B3
 P3  A4  B4  P4
 …   …   …   …
