This map is false! According to it no Pomaks live in Blagoevgrad Province, Pazardzhik Province and parts of Smolyan Province. You can check the map of Chech for instance. It is almost exclusively populated by Pomaks and is situated much westward from the Pomak area on the map. Please correct the map!
Some proofs:
- Blagoevgrad Province: "According to the 2001 census, the population of the province consists of 286,491 Bulgarians (including a number of Muslim Bulgarians)"
- Pazardzhik Province: "At the times of the Turkish terror, the Turks converted many of the Slavs in this region to Islam, by killing those who did not want to accept their religion. According to Vasil Kanchov, the terror was ordered by the Greek bishop Gavril (Gabriel)"
See the maps of these districts and the this map. Obviously it is not correct. --Soft needed (talk) 20:44, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
