This is not Stereum subtomentosum! All Stereum species have a smooth undersurface. This is most probably Plicaturopsis crispa. Will someone please rename or remove this photo? I have done very little editing on Wiki and I am not confident I can do it myself without messing things up. Thank you.--Axanthios (talk) 16:29, 4 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for changing the wrong name, but still the correction is not complete. Pouzar was not the author of Plicatura crispa. According to Species Fungorum (http://www.speciesfungorum.org/Names/SynSpecies.asp?RecordID=337267), the currently accepted name (bionym) is "Plicaturopsis crispa (Pers.) D.A. Reid, Persoonia 3(1): 150 (1964)". A former name was "Plicatura crispa (Pers.) Rea, Brit. basidiomyc. (Cambridge): 626 (1922)". There was never a "Plicatura crispa Pouzar, 1964"! So I would suggest using the currently accepted name if you please. The relevant entry on Species Fungorum is as follows (not all synonyms included): Current Name: Plicaturopsis crispa (Pers.) D.A. Reid, Persoonia 3(1): 150 (1964) - Synonymy: [...] Plicatura crispa (Pers.) Rea, Brit. basidiomyc. (Cambridge): 626 (1922) [...] --Axanthios (talk) 23:54, 7 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
