Acronic map

[edit]

This map does not show the greatest extent of the Italian empire, but is rather an acronic map of the Empire: for example: Tunisia was occupied by the axis forces towards the end of 1943, after the British conquest of the Empire and the lost of Libya. Moreover, there are the following mistakes: Italian (together with the Germans) occupied in Egypt only a strip around the coast, and in east Africa they only briefly occupied British Somaliland and Kassala.
