South Africa should be light green: according to the 2001 census, only 21% of South Africans speak a Indo-European langauge as their first language. See en:Languages of South Africa. 130.60.142.37 14:09, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New legend?

[edit]

I suggest 4 colors instead of 2:

  1. Dark red/darkest green: IE as only main language family
  2. Orange/medium-dark green: IE as a one of the main language families
  3. Yellow/bright green: IE as a minor language family but with official status
  4. Light green/pale green: notable IE minorities but with no official status

We should do this for all major language families. Anyone like that idea? Wimpy Fanboy (talk) 02:03, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
