I conjecture that this map was drawn in 1938 or 1939 based on the planetary positions in the upper left: these are one-degree-per-year progressions for the native, who turned 53 in 1939. The header "1939" appears above them. AxelHarvey 18:01, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
