Z, most of the stuff I've seen has a slightly yellower (less orangey) yellow, and slightly smaller stars - like http://wwwstatic.bayareawritingproject.org/images/sarahfang/bandera002.jpg. You have insider information? :)

There's also that tiny line at FOTW where someone says that the stars all point up (they don't curve out with the arc), but all the photographs of flags I've found so far (not a lot) do keep them curved in the arc like it is now. Hard to tell which is right or if it even matters, since Venezuela is so disorganized. :p ¦ Reisio 17:13, 21 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I do have insider information (that is how I was able to find out about the flag change). I belong to a group called Venezimbol (Venezuela Symbol) and we discuss the VE flag and from countries that border VE (en Español). They have a prefered construction sheet, and I went by that, but there is no official sheet that has been issued for the 7 Star Flag. I am hoping they have one for the 8 star flag, but I am not holding my breath. Plus, it's inkscape, I can change the stars easily. Also, I also own a VE flag that was made in Caracas, and the way the stars point in the image is exactly what I have on the cloth flag. I had the colors at 255-255-0 for yellow, but I was told to change the hues. But, I will change the colors back. Just give me a few minutes. Zach (Smack Back) 19:34, 21 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
