The source at Italian Wikipedia looks like it is a fair use image. Is not also this vector version fair use, and therefore not allowed at Commons? /90.229.135.239 17:43, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry I don't understand: the files are different and have nothing in common but the subject, so why they must have the same licences? --F l a n k e r 17:37, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
- The sorce now seems to be a pic from Presidet of the Italian Republic so assuming that picture is PD this derived image should be able to be PD if F l a n k e r wants it. /Lokal_Profil 15:54, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
- The source is the same, only directrly linked: you can find it also here: it:Immagine:Italia-Stemma.png.
- The original is a paint of Paolo Paschetto. The vector image is a work of mine, I decided to relese the copyright. The subject is under the Italian Governmet property, like other national insignia for the respective Countries (like this). Here there is the decree about shape and use of the Italian Republic emblem: lexs_30594.html. --F l a n k e r 10:30, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
