This is either the coastal defence ship Jacob van Heemskerk, or one of the protected cruisers Gelderland or Friesland.

The Wikipedia article ‘Dutch–Venezuelan crisis of 1908’ mentions that the Gelderland captured a coast guard ship of the Venezuelan navy. But the cruisers had two funnels and this one has one and what looks like a heavy gun turret on the front so I think it’s the Jacob van Heemskerk. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pindanl (talk • contribs) 18:17, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
