This must be painting of Napoléon I that show the most likeness. I have hard to belive that it is not contemporary. In fact, my mental image of how he looked is mostly build this portait. It is not detailed enough to show his eye colour, but I know from other portraits that they where gray. (They might possibly have been blue-gray.) The shape of his nose and chin have been mentally modified to fit his deth mask. There is also a drawing of him on Saint Helena showing the same body propotions as this painting. From it I have estimated his hight to at max 1.48 metre (4 feet 10) possibly only 1.36 metre (4 feet 6). Yes, I know they say he was 1.68 metre (5 feet 6)! But it is a problem with criticism of the sources that have jet to be solved. I do not claim that Napoléon was a dwarf, there is some overlaping in height betveen dwarfes and non-dwarfes. After all, Pygmies have an overage hight of 1.45 metre (4 feet 9). Most of them does not suffer from dwarfism, at least not in the phatological sense!
