Rights
[edit]I've uploaded this on the basis that the Seattle Municipal Archives presumably knows what they are doing when they say they are licensing it under cc-by-2.0. http://clerk.ci.seattle.wa.us/~scripts/nph-brs.exe?s1=32348&S2=&S3=&l=20&Sect7=THUMBON&Sect6=HITOFF&Sect5=PHOT1&Sect4=AND&Sect3=PLURON&d=PHO3&p=1&u=/~public/phot1.htm&r=1&f=G says, of the same image, "Photographer: Walter Hodges, Rights: City of Seattle". They don't spell out the chain of rights, but Hodges is a professional photographer; I presume either this was work for hire or he sold sufficient rights to the City or the Market to allow this relicensing. Pike Place Market is ultimately owned by the city (although since about 1971 it has been administered by several more or less autonomous entities). - Jmabel ! talk 05:30, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
Location
[edit]I believe based on the windows that this is either what is currently Lowell's (likely) or Sound View Cafe. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.168.125.31 (talk • contribs)
- Pretty much. How would you be sure it's not the Athenian, or the place on the ramp that became a Chinese restaurant shortly after this? Different windows? - Jmabel ! talk 16:35, 18 October 2014 (UTC)
