Information Source?

[edit]

Where can I get representative information about the market share of the browsers? Resp. where is the origin of the data displayed in the graph? --195.212.29.187 15:34, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe the author of the .png original all made it up. 82.139.86.194 16:47, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal of update

[edit]

I propose the following update that goes from 1995 to 2010, and have a small change in the presentation of the second place of use: link.
You can do what you want, I don't know use this site. If you need a bigger picture, I can give you the source directly, according to the desired dimensions.

I convert into svg: link.
I also just create an account (kommando45). In a few days so I'll try to update the image file.
Questions? Objections to this update?

This is not a real svg. If you update either update with a real svg or upload the png under different name, please. --Cwbm (commons) (talk) 19:27, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
I can't do "real" svg. But I also updated the png version: File:Browser Wars.png.
That was before your intervention.
If you can do yourself the "real" svg, and you need the original document, I can provide it.

I can't draw svg therefore it would be good if you could provide the data here so somebody else can draw it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cwbm (commons) (talk • contribs) 09:18, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Recreate as real SVG

[edit]

This file is just a pixel image wrapped in an SVG file. That is not the sense behind using SVGs. The diagram should be recreated as SVG, i.e. a diagram consisting of lines and curves, using the original data. --Zapyon (talk) 08:21, 17 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
