Commons:Deletion requests/File:Aquilegia formosa 7566.JPG. --Achim55 (talk) 18:45, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
Has to be renamed, see- copied from DR:
This looks like Ligusticum grayi or another Apiaceae family plant, not like an Aquilegia sp. 97.120.161.88 21:06, 12 August 2023 (UTC)
- Speedy keep COM:INUSE. I suggest you discuss the identification of the plant on the file's talk page, but an incorrect species identification is no deletion reason. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 02:49, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
Confirmed to be not an Aquilegia. A few Aquilegia leaves can be seen a bit blurry in the background. I removed the image from linked pages. --Achim55 (talk) 11:18, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
- Cool. But I think you'll agree that the photo shouldn't be deleted but should merely be correctly identified. User:Archaeodontosaurus, do you recognize this plant? Anyone else? -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 11:26, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
- Speedy keep Anthriscus sylvestris : Just rename the file, and modify the caption: the image is excellent. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 12:59, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
Archaeodontosaurus, I'm not convinced. IMO Ligusticum grayi is more likely comparing the photo with File:Anthriscus sylvestris 15-p.bot-anth.sylves-009.jpg and File:Ligusticum grayi 8467.JPG. In addition, I'm not sure if A. sylvestris can be found in Washington state in the wild at 1600 m. File:Aquilegia formosa 7566.JPG and File:Ligusticum grayi 8467.JPG have been shot by the same photographer in the same region east or southeast of Seattle. --Achim55 (talk) 13:39, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
I agree that Ligusticum grayi is correct. I corrected the description and renamed the file. Thank you. --Walter Siegmund (talk) 05:26, 29 December 2023 (UTC)
