Because of very similar colour, it's hard to differentiate the countries with at least a silver medal from the ones which haven't yet won any medal.--Vojtek W (talk) 07:40, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- Ukrainian province Crimea (Krym) has same colour as Russia on that map. --Долинський (talk) 21:52, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
- New Zealand has won a gold medal (rowing). Schwede66 01:38, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
Ireland have won a silver. Also, Northern Irish athletes can compete for either Ireland or GB so I'm not sure how one shows that on the map (a similar issue with Crimea) Debbiesw (talk) 14:41, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
Crimea
[edit]Ukrainian province Crimea (Krym) has same colour as Russia on that map. The UN does not recognize the Russian occupation of Crimea! --Krutyvuss (talk) 09:39, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
East Timor
[edit]East Timor still has the dark gray "no medals yet" color from before that was changed to blue in the color scheme. Indonesia had silver when that happened, so it didn't stand out and it was never converted to blue. Now that Indonesia has gold you can see it again, and it makes it look like East Timor has won a silver medal when it has not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Astrofreak92 (talk • contribs) 18:17, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
Pretty sure East Timor hasn't won a silver medal like this map says. — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 173.8.135.133 (talk) 21:48, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
New Caledonia
[edit]As dependencies can no longer create their own NOCs, and New Caledonia never created a recognized NOC when it was eligible, the territory's inhabitants compete with France. The island should either be changed to gold to reflect Team France, or red to indicate New Caledonia itself does not have a team competing. Per IOC rules on dependencies and a lack of New Caledonian participation in other Olympic events like Macau at the Paralympics, I'd go with gold.--Astrofreak92 (talk) 18:21, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
