Ummm, since 90% of US almonds are grown in California, shouldn't the green dot be on the other side of the US? Randall Bart Talk 19:25, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- I believe the dots are centered over the countries' respective capitols. I'm assuming the data was by country (the link no longer works), and it appears the creator intentionally chose not to color the entire countries for accessibility reasons (colorblind individuals, I guess?)
