Description
English: The entrepreneur Carl Zuckmayer (1864–1947) with his wife Amalie Zuckmayer (1869–1954), née Goldschmidt, and both sons Carl (1896–1977) and Eduard (1890–1972) in Mainz in July 1906. Eduard became a pianist, composer, conductor and pedagogue who got nationwide recognition in Turkey whereas Carl junior became a famous German writer.

Deutsch: Der Unternehmer Carl Zuckmayer (1864–1947) mit seiner Ehefrau Amalie Zuckmayer (1869–1954), geb. Goldschmidt, und den beiden Söhnen Carl (1896–1977) und Eduard (1890–1972) in Mainz im Juli 1906. Der als hochbegabt geltende Eduard wurde ein Konzertpianist, Komponist, Dirigent und Musikpädagoge der Jugendmusikbewegung, der insbesondere in der Türkei bis heute erinnert wird, während sein Bruder Carl jun. als Schriftsteller sehr bekannt wurde.
