Il quadro è dedicato a Santa Lucia come si legge dall'iscrizione "virgo siracusana ora pro nobis", vergine di Siracusa (cioè santa Lucia) prega per noi.
Al centro troviamo Santa Lucia che sorregge gli occhi nel piatto, sulla destra c'è Sant'Agata che tiene in mano il piatto con i seni e a sinistra vi è Sant'Apollonia d'Alessandria con la pinza e il dente.
In primo piano sulla destra si trova San Biagio Vescovo riconoscibile, oltre dagli abiti episcopali, dal pettine di ferro (usato per scardinare la lana) che ricorda il suo martirio.
