Description

500px provided description: Zapata Falls at Great Sand Dunes National Park. The falls are in a cave and the stream enters from an opening in the roof of the cave like an oculus. The light on the icicles clinging to the rock was really beautiful. I did my best to capture the scene, but the footing was really difficult -- ice cold, fast moving water and icy rocks.
