Description
Deutsch: Karl Ludwig von Zanth: Wandelgang, Außenmauer des Säulengangs, Entstehungsjahr 1856, Stuttgart, Wilhelma, Neckartalstraße. Das überdachte Ende des Wandelgangs mit der Terrakottawand (Terrakottagang) links endet in einem quadratischen Pavillon. Hier beginnt der überdachte Säulengang, von dem nur die äußere, durch Sandsteinlisenen gegliederte Kalksteinmauer zu sehen ist. Die Säulen schließen den Gang im Inneren zur Wilhelma hin ab. Der Säulengang beginnt mit einem geraden Stück, das den Terrakottagang fortsetzt und beim nächsten Pavillon in den Viertelkreis des sogenannten "Bogengangs" übergeht, der in den linken Seiteneingang des Wilhelma-Theaters einmündet.
