Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Images of Kherson residents on Freedom Square (Площа Свободи) celebrating the arrival of soldiers from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (ZSU) on 11 November 2022. One female soldier of the ZSU is lifted up by two men on their shoulders, and then tossed into the air to express their great thanks and admiration. Civilians chant "ZSU!" and "Glory to the ZSU!", with some waving or wrapping themselves in Ukrainian flags, and others crying tears of joy. More information: Peter Beaumont, Luke Harding, Pjotr Sauer, Isobel Koshiw (11 November 2022). "Ukraine troops enter centre of Kherson as Russians retreat in chaos". the Guardian.
